Udomdej vows to stay put again

BANGKOK -- Deputy Defence Minister General Udomdej Sitabutr Tuesday admitted that he felt the pressure from the Rajabhakti Park scandal but vowed to stay put until ongoing investigations clears his name.

"I am a human. So when something comes up, I of course think about it," Udomdej said in response to a question about the growing calls for him to step down.

He, however, expressed confidence in the honesty of those in charge of implementing the Rajabhakti Park project.

Hehee he is human and when something comes up he thinks about it. Then he remembers he is Thai and says mai pan rai and hopes he doesn't get caught.

He did nothing any other senior military man would not have done in his position.
