I am 31 years old and a citizen of America. I am looking to travel to Thailand for about 4 months in december.

I should fill out the generic visa application from the thai embassy website for a 2 entry tourist visa, correct? I was looking on the form and there is a spot to put in "Reference person and address in Thailand". Is it necessary to give a reference person in Thailand or is it ok to leave this spot blank? Also for the "Purpose of visit" I was planning to just say Tourism and Travel. While im on a roll asking questions... What about the spot where it asks "Pleace to stay in Thailand"? I don't have a plan on where I am going to stay yet. Is it ok to just ssay something like "Traveling around the country staying in resorts or hotels"

Thanks for the answers in advance :o

1. I used to put "self" or my Embassy as reference on visa forms.

2. If for a tourist visa "tourist" would be a good answer. If non immigrant O "visiting friends".

3. "hotels"
