The cherry continuom

Sometimes it seems as though the universe is trying to tell you something. Or, perhaps I am reading something that isn't there. A short story, and then you tell me.

In all of my years here I have never noticed cherries for sale. i am sure they have been around but they never caught my eye. Last week in the local market I saw the biggest cherries I have ever seen. Looked almost good enough to justify the 1800 baht price tag.

Since then I have seen regular looking cherries at a far more reasonable price in big c.

Coincidently I started seeing a girl last week who said her name was Jallee. We have spent several days together and get along very well.

The other night i was taking a walk in the park after spending the day with Jallee and the song "Cherry Pie" by Warrant came on. Out of thousands of songs on my phone another cherry reference. That is when it hit me, Jallee is similar to how a Thai would pronounce cherry. I got on Line and asked her to spell her name in Thai and sure enough, It was Cherry.

So, coincidence?

The universe wants me to eat more cherries?

I should invest in cherries?

I should be with Cherry?

I am about to die soon somehow conected to cherries?

The universe is screwing with me?

I need something more to occupy my thoughts before they need to lock me in a padded room?

What do you people think? I would do a poll but dont know how.

In my (Thai) family, my niece is named Cherry, but they all pronounce it Cherley, sounds very much like shirley!!

Oh, and cherries are readily available (abeit in jars) in most supermarkets.

I once went out with a girl named Apple. One date # 2 she bought me one of those pyramids of apples wrapped in cellophane that you can buy at the local market. Dumb Luke never got the connection till after -
