BANGKOK, 28 December 2015 (NNT) -- Deputy Prime Minister Wisanu Krua-Ngam has joined a meeting with 20 spokespersons from 20 ministries to make sure the government’s public relations arms provide the public with sufficient information.

The meeting has been convened following Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s comment saying each ministry did not provide enough news updates to the media.

The objective of the meeting is to brainstorm how to relay information to the people more effectively and continuously in the same manner. They are also expected to respond to incorrect information promptly.

They will later propose their solutions to the prime minister for his approval before implementing them in the future.

Must be getting harder for the ministries to make-up stuff that the media finds believable and is willing to print.
