Opinion On New York Consulate

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just wanted to get some opinions on my chances of getting a 60 day tourist from the New York consulate. Here are my details:

- Used a 60 day tourist from NYC in February and June, so I been approved twice this year

- I am in Thailand, used my 60 days from June, one extension and two border runs (One here in October)

So after 3 runs, that puts me in January, which is fine for me for a trip back to the states to do some business, see family, etc.

But while I am home, I want to apply for another 60 day at NYC, specifically because I will be near the interview stage of a US Visa that I am applying for for my fiance. So I would like to return to Thailand to be with her and accompany her to the interview. I can show proof of all this to NYC, but I need to budget my "90 of 180" soon to be sure I can be here when we are clearing up her US visa.

Or any other recommendations for how I can stay until January, return to the states for about a month and then be back in Thailand for about two months? Thanks!

Ask for a multi entry tourist visa. even though NY is tougher than other Consulates in giving multi entry non immigrant visas, you should be ok on a tourist visa.
