Check on who gave out Yingluck calendars
THE NATION

ROI ET: -- ROI ET Governor Anusorn Kaewkangwan yesterday confirmed that his office was looking into the distribution of calendars adorned with photos of the |former premiers Thaksin and Yingluck Shinawatra during the New Year festival.

Anusorn's order follows the distribution of 200 calendars by a political party coordinator. The calendars were given away before a local administrators' conference in Chiang Khwan district last Wednesday.

The examination was ordered for 20 districts in the province, as it was viewed as inappropriate for authorities to provide free calendars symbolising any political party.

Local authorities must examine and open presents they receive and not distribute them to people. They must return inappropriate gifts to the people who originally provided them.

The order prohibits further distribution of the calendars, but not keeping the ones already passed out.

The calendars could also be given during any other time of the year without problems, he said.

Anusorn Iamsa-ard, acting deputy spokesman for the Pheu Thai Party, said the authorities were overly scared and the calendar distribution simply aimed to wish peoplewish people well.

Another goodie after the Thaksin jam case. ;)

The General will be upset, throwing some more toys out of the pram.whistling.gif

Can't wait for his response. Maybe impose article 44 to ban all calendars in Thailand. giggle.gif

Word is that they were being distributed out of the boot of a Bentley by a man with bloodshot eyes.

Hope Ms Y was not posing in a bikini!

Considering the losses her government made of the peoples money,(rice in particular) the calenders are probably the most expensive

in history.

I wouldn't even distribute a calendar with a cute dog pic in the current climate.

Unless it has the Generals picture on it.gigglem.gif

Just picked up the 2016 Junta Swimsuit Calendar today. Should be a collectors item. Odd though, every month is 90 days long.

So giving out calendars and drink driving only illegal over the new year.

Weirder and weirder.

A simple response from Uncle Too would be to declare 2016 year ZERO in Thailand, then all those calanders would be usless.

Ahh, hang on, this has been tried before, didn't go to well as I recall.

Hope Ms Y was not posing in a bikini!

Oh god, now I want to be sick. Was thaksin in a mankini?

I may never eat again.

Why not??

She is actually one of the few Thai women, who could fill a bikini......................giggle.gif

For a government supported by 99.3% of the population, they are being more than just a little paranoid........................coffee1.gif

Guidelines for local authorities:

Calendars: Very inappropriate

Cash: Very appropriate

Of course those "losses" translated into hard cash into the hands of the rice farmers at the expense of the Thai taxpayers. When one begins to add up the costs of Prayut's farming and fishing subsidies, loan bailouts, debt forgiveness, soft loans made during 2014 and 2015, it will equal if not surpass those s0-called losses.

So called losses? That's the quote of the day.

The ex can only marvel as her few fans in the 1% democratic circles watch on as calendars are handed out.

Yeah, and strangely enough Thaksin suggested "zeroing the clocks" and starting again. Maybe his eternal buddy Hun Set the former KR terrorist gave him some ideas?

But I heard Thaskin was in speedo with arm around the red bull heir Dang that makes for an ugly picture.

I'm wondering if Abhisit or Suthep posters were handed out somewhere what the response would be.

My money is on sweet FA happening

He ignores reports that indicate only a fraction of the money ever went to rice farmers, and even then, not the poorest. He ignores the fact PTP have never ever submitted any audited accounts for the scheme, issued no details of the operational costs associated with the scheme (or who benefited) and the fact that PTP's scheme was not a subsidy but an off budget self financing scheme.

Have you noticed how the Shin fans keep hoping everyone else will simply forget reality and accept the Shin PR crap?

Cheers mate! Put me off me' cornflakes!!

Classic case of the old tiger and crocodile adage. So glad I planned ahead.

He probably angry that his PR team didn't think of this first.

And yet another distraction from the REAL ISSUES the country is facing. I'm still waiting for three months each of 'Bike for Dog' and 'Bike for Cat' to keep the peoples minds occupied with banal crap.

keep checking boys. A possible reward awaits you.

Why not let the 0.7% of impure have their calendars?
