davejonesbkk Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Im selling an iPhone 5s and need to restore it, my wife says she did it last night and its already been wiped etc but then it was stuck showing the iTunes symbol and the cable on the screen so we left it alone, Ive been taking a look at it this morning and attempting to restore it via iTunes but after downloading for a long time it throws up some error message saying it can't do it and I've tried about 3 times now with no luck. I dont recall the message the 1st time but 2nd time it was this: The iPhone software update server could not be contacted. An unknown error occurred (1671) Thing is I have no connection problems at the moment. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
