A bit disengenous. There are less than 1000 descendants of Kaifeng Jews in China, and the vast majority had converted to Islam a long time ago, as apparently these Jews were viewed as practicing "ancient Islam", and it was preferable to absorb these populations rather than godless Confucian Chinese. What synagogues there are were built largely by foreign Jews, such as Russian Jews. Most Orthodox rabbis won't recognise Kaifeng Jews as Jewish, hence there are only 19 in Israel. The vast majority of Jews in China live in Hong Kong, which is a bit of a melting pot.
