Dr Somkid downplayed a planned protest by BAAC unionists against his alleged harsh remark against the bank claiming that it was a misinterpretation of his remark. He said that he didnt think he had any problem working with BAAC or had any ill intention against the bank but only hopes that both the BAAC and GSB can cooperate to help the farmers whom he said are in deep trouble.
