Weird how we all us Europeans/US are supposedly having a life expectancy of 88 years old and yet hardly anyone we see departing reaches 80.

The thing that gets me is even the ultra wealthy and famous are not immune from an early death: Steve Jobs & George Harrison were in their 50's. cancer. Of course David Bowie probably got the best cancer treatment money can buy, but still: out at 69.

Michael Jackson & Prince, were both in their 50's, Elvis quite young. Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse all 27? Of course most if not all of these were drug related.  Still, it begs the question: What is the life expectancy of ultra famous celebrities? Could it actually be less than average?

If our souls really are immortal, I'm guess that a human lifetime is a drop in the bucket. We will all know (or not know) someday.
