PATTAYA: -- The body of a 50-year-old British National was discovered in waters off the coast of Pattaya on Monday Morning and for now Police are unsure of the circumstances surrounding his death.

Who goes swimming with their passport? Intentionally, I mean.

The Irish

The Irish

they told him to carry it with him at all times .. blink.png

Passport but no money? RIP poor man!

It would paint a clearer picture if his movements prior to his demise were known.

Never met a Thai yet that can pronounce Ireland or Iceland - they can't say Ice, then mix up HE and SHE.... so it might have been reported as a woman from iceland....

Sad case again, I wonder though on a global scale which Touris' beach has the most deaths recorded against it ? I am sure Phuket has been going flat out to beat Pattaya so far this year.

The Irish

I wonder what is Blood Alcohol amount was; being a Irish dude.

If he was Irish he would have held in Irish passport. He must have been from Northern Ireland.

RIP Dude, 50 is far too young. sad.png

His body was dead? Intriguing. What about the rest of him? And on a more serious note; he was carrying his passport in the seawater, and it was still intact and legible?

The details page is laminated.

I have a story about that but I'll save it for another time.

....drowned.....how the !@#$%^&* did he end up in the water.......???

Too little information even for speculation. Were they shorts or swimming trunks/shorts? Passport but no money whatsever doesn't sound logical. Did he have his other clothes on the beach?

Likely to go down as an accident or suicide
