Hollande's nightmare over nationality

PARIS: -- Determined to act tough after November's attacks, France's President, Francois Hollande, finds himself trapped in a damaging ideological fix over French nationality, and whether certain convicted terrorists can be made to give it up.

The row has exposed deep divisions within his ruling Socialist Party (PS), many of whose members believe the president has veered dangerously to the right in his reaction to the Paris atrocities.

With just a year till campaigning starts for the 2017 presidential election, it shows the uphill task facing Mr Hollande as he tries to forge a united leftwing bloc capable of returning him to the Elysee.

I'm am sorry for all the EU countries. They tried to help poorer people; but have no control over the people coming in.

When fighting a war where one side has green uniforms and the other side has blue, black, brown etc. You know who the enemy is.

But when the people you are fighting look and dress the same as 10 % of your own population; you never know if the guy will shake your hand or blow you up.

If Hollande thinks this is a nightmare, wait until he finds scores, hundreds, or thousands of real Frenchmen, not "bi-nationals," murdered by their fellow "universal citizens."

On one side, the nuanced argument that terrorists who hold only French nationality are immune from this punishment whilst primarily ethnically North African French citizens can be punished by it and thus the proposal is discriminatory.

On the other side, dead bodies of innocent victims.

Hmm, I am glad I am not a member of the French Socialist movement with its unsolvable dilemmas.

"Determined to act tough..." really does sum it up, doesn't it? EU Masters continue to inflict their social engineering upon the whole and when the blowback begins they "act" like they give a damn, only later to implement further solutions to the problems they have created. "act[ing] tough really is just taking a knee until the issue blows over, and then continuing with further cultural suicide.

Funny how Europeans condescend to the U.S. as some kind of fascist nation, while Europeans watch Al Jazeera, accept all the Muslims but then fail to integrate them into society...and the U.S is one of the very few western countries where Muslims are fairly well integrated.
