House is just about to be sold

Just about to sell a house that's in the wife's name , the buyer is Thai and will be getting a mortgage . My question is can they release funds to a bank account that's in both mine and my wife's name ? I'm sorry if this has been asked before but can't get a straight answer from the banks concerned . Thanks

Get a cashier's cheque in your wife's name and bank it into your joint account.

Yeah I wouldn't really want bangers and mash . My sister in law will be dealing with most of this as we won't be here so just want to get it sorted out before we leave .
