Hey Guys

I need a some advice on an ED visa (1 year), for studying Thai. Anyone done it lately? I found most places to be quite expensive.

Any info on where to apply with a good price will help a lot.

Thanks in advance

You don't get a ED visa from a school. You pay for a 400 hour course of study and get the paperwork from them to apply for a single entry non-ed visa at an embassy or consulate then apply for 90 day extensions at immigration.

I'm in the process of doing this at the moment. I recommend you shop around. The price varies considerably as does the quality of the school. Check reviews by other students, class times etc. If possible go to each school and check them out - some even offer a free introductory class.
