Howitzer Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I figure they must sell that in the supermarkets. How do you call that in thai?
Brit_Doggie Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Marked as Apple Cider Vinegar at Big C LOL. To avoid confusion with the pfft pfft brigade it's actually labelled as above.
crazygreg44 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 actually in thai, it is the same term which also is used for Orange Juice. Vinegar is "Naam Som" The resemblance will eventually lead you to confusing disputes with most Thais, feel warned my friend Best to avoid it and spell it "na:m som sa:i tschu:-"

pattjock Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Try coconut flower vinegar the "Champagne of Vinegar", suposed to be apple cider vinegar on steroids.
KhunBENQ Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I can tell.......you wont be able to find it. Seems you haven't come across a major BIg C supermarket? Or have you overlooked the "vinegar" part? Then order online http://www.bigc.co.th/s-w-apple-cider-vinegar-32-oz.html?___store=default&___from_store=mainstore_thai
KhunBENQ Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I often saw these "S&W" bottles, just can't swear that I saw the apple variation. Print this page and show it if you want to ask. http://www.bigc.co.th/s-w-apple-cider-vinegar-32-oz.html?___store=mainstore_thai&___from_store=default Ttranscript of the Thai description: nám sôm săai choo màk àep-bpêrn nám sôm săai choo = vinegar màk = fermented, leaven àep-bpêrn = apple (Thai pronunciation of apple) Good luck being understood
Eddy B Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I have found it in my local supermarkets. It seems to be very popular to the Thai's as there are not many farang living in the town I am living.
