Police hunt suspect/s involved in Phuket shooting incident

PHUKET: -- Police are currently hunting for one of more people believed to have been involved in the shooting of a man near the Srisoonthorn Municipality office last night (Jan 19). The man is still in hospital recovering from gunshot wounds.

Pol Capt Santichai Srimai from Thalang Police received a call at 11:50pm last night to investigate a shooting that occurred opposite the Srisoonthon Municipality office on the northbound side of Thepkassattri Rd.

Upon arrival, police found the wounded man, 34-year-old Rawi Suksomran from Thalang with gunshot wounds to his chest, leg and buttocks.

Rescue workers initially took Mr Rawi to Thalang Hospital for treatment, however, he began having breathing difficulties so was transferred to Mission Hospital.

so you have breathing difficulties and you have to go to another hospital?

Maybe one hospital charges less than the other for the treatment of breathing difficulties.

so you have breathing difficulties and you have to go to another hospital?

Many of these area government hospitals don't even have a doctor on duty. The nurses deal with minor injuries.. Mission is a private hospital and has very good medical facilites ... and plenty of doctors.
