Serbian tires.. Any good?

Featured Replies

Ha ha.

papa bought new rear tire for Nouvo today.

90/80-16 Michelin City Pro

[M45 model, d/c'd, rats!]

1150baht installed.

Made in Serbia, April 2014.

Looks good !

Having never bought a decent tyre for a scooter, 1150b seems quite expensive for just popping down to 7-11 and back.

Not doubting the price, just comparing to a bog standard 350b job.

1150 did seem a bit high.

Wrote it off to:

a. imported tire & weak baht.

b. 16" is semi-odd-ball size and cost more than 14 or 17".

c. Michelin is premium brand with state-of-the-industry product.

$32, no perspiration;

maybe avoid a puncture.

Serbia is a country now, right?

Today bought Michelin Pilot 100x80-17 road tire

same place, made in Thailand

1400baht.

Seems proportional.

I learnt my lesson buying rubbish 350b tyres = constant punctures.

Spent about 1800B on a set of Michelins and never had a problem since. Michelin = good tyres

I have the michelin city but didn't know made in serbia. they are good tires.

Sorry, Never take advice from poster who refers to himself in the 3rd person.

Suspect 16" are made in Serbia, 14" & 17", Thailand.

Check side-wall.
