TVGerry
The press are vultures, not just here but anywhere in the world. Of course they're gonna swarm a corpse for a good pic. This applies too to the so called 'citizen journalists' who do the same.

Laughing Gravy
There is one more trait. Stop being so nosey. There is a fine line between inquisitive and being damn right nosey. Far too many people here follow the latter.
Gulfsailor
The press only satisfies a demand from the public. The line in the OP: "Click here to see the disturbing photo of the incident.", proves this nicely.

colinneil
He was very popular with Thai people, but that is not the way to behave. Usually Thais are very respectful to the dead. Those who did that should bow their heads in shame. Now you know about gutter press.

samsensam
there should have been more respect shown but also more thought about organisation and security as he was a popular and high profile actor and the issues described could have been predicted

eggers
The Coconuts BKK article reports on the outrage at reporters who sought to get photos of actor's corpse & posted on i/net. But w/o any moral or ethical values Coconuts has a'Click here' "to see the disturbing photo of the incident." Searat7
In a situation like this it would seem they could use some type of covered container to move the body,,..also there should have been more security.....very sad to see reporters act like vultures
soalbundy
That's usual in Thailand, see people taking photos and generally staring at road traffic accidents etc where someone is dead or injured. That really does happen everywhere without exception. maderaroja
Of course, the people who are outraged by the press coverage of this rich person's death are also showing a disrespect for the thousands of Thai people who died in 2015 from dengue hemoragic fever. No one is talking about them. Why? They are not rich and famous. 583 Thai people have contracted dengue in the first 11 days of Janusry, 2016. 140,000+ Thia people contracted the disease in all of 2015. Who is paying them some respect.
scorecard
The press only satisfies a demand from the public. The line in the OP: "Click here to see the disturbing photo of the incident.", proves this nicely. Same everywhere, 'celebrities' get attention and adulation from a large % of the population, even when they are derelict parents, domestic violence perpetrators, drug etc., abusers, gang members, etc. And all the while the majority of the sincere and really caring folks who are really contributing highly valuable work for the community are just ignored. It ain't a civil world and sadly I doubt it ever will be. Edited January 20, 2016 by scorecard
