Convict-turned-celeb 'Keng Camouflage' arrested over old drugs case

BANGKOK: -- Internet idol and ex-convict "Keng Camouflage" was arrested at his home in the Bangkok outskirts this morning over smuggling Yaba into prison while he was serving time for attempted murder and robbery.

Panya Yimumphai, who goes by the name “Keng Laiprang” or “Keng Camouflage” in English, has been charged with drug possession and smuggling drugs into prison - an offence that took place in 2008 while he was serving an eight-year sentence.

Keng Camouflage has been a changed man since his release from prison in 2011, Daily News reported.

Charged with an 8 year old crime? As the Thai police do nothing without a profit, I wonder whose toes he stepped on and how?

Apparently he has loads of Thai friends on Facebook. Yesterday he was paraded in front of the cameras by the police in the type of show they excel at. Too bad that's the only thing they excel at.

"Internet idol" ,even the dog has a hard on for him.
