What are you taking about? A tourist visa is 25 USD per entry. The maximum entries allowed is four, which means for 100 USD you can get a one year tourist visa.

Please explain, how that would work. would I apply for a 60 day tourist visa, then ask for a 30 day extension? Then would I need to leave the kingdom, to apply for anouther 60 day tourist visa?

How would I cover the airline ticket/itinerary requirment?

Yes you leave after 90 days. But you don't need a new visa, just just get one more 60 day stamp at the border. Thats it.

But @britainmal, where did you get the 4 entry information. I've never seen anything like that and i'm reading forums for a long time. Only Non-Immi have 4 entries, not TV.

A tourist visa for most allows a 60 day stay that can be extended 30 days. A handful of countries receive only a 30 day stay which I believe can then be extended twice. OP question is not clear and he did not provide a link to all the source material so makes it rather hard to answer when we don't know the question.

From the Royal Thai Consulate Hull Royal Thai Consulate Hull website

Tourist visa

The following options are available:-

1) One Entry

The validity of this visa is 3 months from date of issue and allows a single stay for a period of up to 60 days after which you must

depart. A further visit will require a new visa which can be obtained only outside Thailand.

2) Two Entries

The validity of this visa is 6 months from date of issue and allows two separate stays of up to 60 days. On expiry of the second

stay you must depart and cannot return without a new visa which can be obtained only outside Thailand.

3) Three Entries

As for Two Entries except that it allows up to three visits within a period of 6 months.

4) Four Entries

As for Three Entries except that it allows up to four (maximum) visits within a period of 6 months.

Extending a stay:-

It may be possible to extend a stay beyond the 60 days by visiting a Thai Immigration Office. The granting of an extension

of stay is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Officer and is not automatically given.

Hi,

Wrong britainmal,

The validity of Tourism Visa is 6 month only. So you have to use your last entry not after 6 months. That give you again 60 days + 30 days extension. Total 9 months, not 1 year.
