New charter to be publicized on Jan 29th

BANGKOK, 23 January 2016 (NNT) - The Constitution Drafting Commission (CDC) says the first charter draft will be made public on January 29th.

According to CDC spokesperson Udom Rathamarit, the drafting team is preparing for a press conference, to take place on Friday January 29th, which is when the first constitution draft will be revealed to the public.

The press conference will be held at 2 pm at the Parliament House.

The CDC is also scheduled to explain in detail the contents of the draft to the National Legislative Assembly and the National Reform Steering Assembly on February 3rd.

On February 5th, the CDC will meet with representatives from the Community Organization Council. These representatives will be asked to pass on the information about the draft to people in their respective areas.
