January 23, 201610 yr Hi anyone knows a shop that does some good whole car sound proofing for newer car models ? (e.g. taking the interior apart and not mess up when rebuilding it)
January 23, 201610 yr Great question. I was thinking about this too, foot wells and under the bonnet etc. I was reading that leather seats don't help ie reflecting rather than absorbing noise
January 24, 201610 yr Decent car audio shops will sell and know how to use damping products, and how to pull apart your interior and put it back together again. There are also some shopping mall carpark vendors that spray a sound damping solution in the wheel wells.. I've never used it, so no idea of effectiveness.
January 24, 201610 yr You know if you told us where you are, members might be able to steer you to a place known to do it, but it is so much more fun to play the Thai Visa where am I locate guessing game
January 24, 201610 yr my neighbour had his chevrolet trailblaser done, came to his house, seemed to make a good job, in the kilosip, chonburi area
January 24, 201610 yr Are there any noise cancellation type kits available? Tell the wife she left your wallet in the house, then drive off. It's cheaper
January 25, 201610 yr Try http://www.sr-sound.com/ on Srinakarin Road or any other audioshop on Srinakarin. I got my old PJS done at SR sound and they are pretty much as professional as they come.

January 25, 201610 yr Depends on how big your car is though. I only had the door panels done for the PJS and paid little over 7000 baht. That's 3 years ago though... Owner speaks English quite well (I think he went to school in Singapore).
