Pattaya Police investigate 10-year-old claims of sexual assault by Stepfather



PATTAYA: -- Just before Dawn on Monday the family of a 10-year-old girl arrived at Pattaya Police Station to report an alleged sexual assault by the girl’s Stepfather.

The Grandmother of the child became concerned after her granddaughter became quiet and would cry on regular occasions. Eventually she revealed how she had been sexually assaulted over a period of 2 months by her stepfather when her mother was working and she had been left in his care.

Poor thing. She must have woken up every day knowing what was going to happen. Hope he gets a long jail sentence.

Some people are more concerned about the way the article is written. Ssd person.

Sadly, it is likely the girl's mom will not press charges...mom did not even take the girl to the police...

Young girl can not be left in harms way...hope she moves in with reliable trustworthy relatives...

If this was a Muslim country...the little girl might be in serious trouble for coming forward to reveal the wrong doing...

This is the world we live in today...

Hopefully times have changed in regards to this, but in speaking about it one time with my wife, she told me that in the smaller villages, half the girls in them lose their virginity to their fathers, and/or brothers by the time they are 11-12 years old. And no one says a word about it.

Let's hope this little girl is moved out of that environment, and also receives the professional counseling she's going to need.

I'm very sorry for the little one - for the stepfather?? He needs a cell with the biggest 'Bubba' in the prison, and never able to see the little one again. There is no excuse, none whatsoever for what he did, he stole somthing that can never be replaced.
