Transvestite sentenced to two months for throwing a dog from the fifth floor

BANGKOK: -- The Bangkok North Municipal Court today sentenced a 22-year-old transvestite to serve two months in prison after finding him guilty of throwing his roommate's four-year-old Chihuahua dog from the window of a rented fifth-floor apartment room in Lardprao area.

At first the court handed down four-month imprisonment sentence after finding Mr Yolada Champasri guilty of throwing his roommate’s pet to the ground.

However the sentence was reduced by half after he confessed.

But the court reasoned that his act of throwing the pet was a brutal torture of the animal as the dog suffered serious injury and died painfully.

No suspension of jail term was given to him.

He was later escorted for detention at the court, pending release on bail.

Yolada was arrested by Lardprao police after Ms Meyanee Sithisuk, 23, posted on Facebook the picture of her injured dog thrown by Yolada.

But Yolada said earlier he was angry when the dog urinated and dropped excreta on his bed.

He said he allowed Meyanee shared the room freely for 10 days but couldn’t tolerate her dog.

He was later told to move out of the apartment after the incident as bringing dog to stay with them violated the regulation of the apartment.

Isn't it amazing how fast the dubious wheels of Thai justice can turn when the accused person comes from a lower social strata? Tried and sentenced within just 2 days!

Now compare that with the several YEARS (or even a decade) it generally takes to try a person who has status, money, clout and influence. And often enough they eventually even walk free.

I would gladly throw this low life scum from the same window, as is his fit punishment

So you would commit murder over a small dog? Killing a human would not be a fit punishment for killing a dog.

"He was later escorted for detention at the court, pending release on bail."

Release on bail ? Is he appealing ? Found guilty , should be sent to prison to serve his sentence . Do not really understand the Thai Justice system here.

As a chastened Mr Yolada minces from the courtroom, lips pouting, handbag swinging, he turns to the judge and thunders: "DISGRACEFUL, I plan to appeal. I deserve two years in jail .... Cutey pie."

Of course all those cocks in fights that are ripped to death don't die painfully whistling.gif

Or dogs who are abandoned and cause traffic accidents....mai pen lai.

Only Two months for an animal killer ?? bah.gifbah.gif

+500 baht penalty ??

And release him/her because no gender specific jail ? whistling.gifwhistling.gif

Two months is a long sentence by Thai standards for animal cruelty.

EVERY prisoner is entitled to apply for bail pending appeal, it happens all the time even for foreigners.

They do not need a gender specific jail, the male prisons have a lot of ladyboys in them.

Maybe the Hebrew motto needs to be applied here " an eye for an eye; a tooth for a tooth". Throw the ladyboy out of the same window and see how it feels, 2 months jail is laughable.

Killing a foreign Argentine cyclist 500bht fine + suspended 6 month sentence.

Killing a dog 2 months in jail.

At least we know our place here.

some hysterical mob mentality throw him out sentiments. Nothing on here about the uni couple who had a baby and threw that out of the window a few days ago to it's death, maybe it was not cute enough to get worked up about.?
