PM praises ministries' infographic PR campaign

BANGKOK, 01 Feb 2016, (NNT) - Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has expressed his gratitude towards all ministries for disseminating their achievements through a series of infographics.

Government Spokesperson Maj Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd explained that this new public relations campaign serves to inform the public about the government's works through several forms of social media. He said Gen Prayut prefers visual content, which he says can help the general public digest information.

Regarding some negative interpretations of the information presented in the campaign, the government spokesperson asked the public to concentrate on useful information, such as the directions, instructions, policies and achievements of the government. He stressed that the government is listening to all opinions and considers constructive ideas to be a crucial element in developing the Kingdom.

Major General Sansern also stated that the government welcomes anyone with an aptitude for graphic design to showcase their talents and help spread accurate information about the government to the public.

Yes, visual information for the slow to understand general Thai populous. Visuals that also conveniently gloss over some of the more gnarly details.

I want to see the cartoons.

Link anyone?

What is Noi up to these days?

In comic book form, then it might be easier to get the message across.

I think that this should have read

"He said Gen. Prayut prefers visual content, which he says can help the general digest information"

"listening to all opinions and considers constructive ideas to be a crucial element in developing the Kingdom."

The Kingdom stooped developing at the day the coup occurred ......

But, I have a constructive idea.... Elections ! how about that ?

Didn't a student recently 'Like' an infographics post about a certain park and ended up in prison?

If you torture the statistics long enough they will tell you anything. Then coat them in infographic and voila. Insta good news! ????

There are three types of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.

Mark Twain

Where's a Joseph Goebbels when you need one.

Let's see if I understood correctly. Did the illegitimate self appointed Grand Po Ba (can we really refer to him as the Prime Minister, I believe that would require an election to be held. As in the one they just delayed again for the 3rd or 4th time) of Thailand in essence just say that all of his subjects (excuse me I intended to say "Thai People") are to stupid to read or comprehend the written word?

I say in their defense that while they may be sheep, I don't think they are stupid; however the Grand Po Ba of Thailand must be. Especially if he thinks anyone is buying his or his co-conspirator's lie's as to the true purpose of their latest heavy handed for-ray. That being the facilitation of increasing the firm and unrelenting grip of control over the sheep.

Good Luck Thailand...It;s Looking More and More Like You're Going to Need all the Luck you can get...

Make sure you stay on the lines when coloring, or else re-education.... with a pass though.
