Genericnic
Hi all. On my old Honda Wave 125i, I replaced the IRCs with Michelin Street Pilot M62 2.25-17 (front) and M62 2.5-17 (rear) tubed tires. I am getting ready to get a new Wave and am considering going tubeless this time. Is there a tubeless tire comparable to the Street Pilot that would work? I checked the Michelin Thailand site and didn't find a good answer. Doesn't have to be Michelin. Just something with similar handling on mainly city street and in the rain. Thanks David
papa al
Michelin Pilot Street does not require tubes. Also City Pro, Mich latest offering. You realise you need alloy wheels for tubeless.? Edited February 8, 2016 by papa al
Genericnic
Michelin Pilot Street does not require tubes. Interesting. Mine were tubed. Does that mean the work with our without tubes? David

That will make me very happy though. The were great general riding tires that even managed to handle a bit of off-road at times. David
kiniyow
I don't think tubless tires will work on Rims designed for Tubes..If you change the rims then no problem

Was going to get a bike with alloys rather than spokes. David

Many km. in the past 2 years, fast, dirt, pot-holes, 8" deep dust [the worst], wet, fast. Nary a flat; not a dump. [excluding collisions] Good longevity. Unavailable in 16 inch, so Nouvo has City Pro, recently. Ugly tread pattern but prolly good tire. Check out the vids on YouTube. Michelin = ++ bang/baht. !Recomendo! hkt83100
I got Pirellis on my PCX and I am very happy with them. A few days ago I got a new rear tyre on warranty (free including work), because the side of the tyre had a small tear on the side. This appeared 4000 km ago on a lengthy trip and I went to get the replacement now. In total the tyre was used about 1 year, doing roughly 20000 kms. I like a service like that. Edited to add: I forgot, these are tubeless Diablo Scooter type. Edited February 9, 2016 by hkt83100
