FruitPudding
So what's your favorite Indian in Bangkok? Mine's has to be Dosa King! What about you?
smokie36
Ha-ha well right now I'd say Rang Mahal. Charcoal and Indus close behind.
Baerboxer
Saras, soi 20 near the Windsor Hotel. It's vegetarian but has a wonderful selection of dishes from all parts of India. The Thali selections are excellent. Very authentic food and usually full of Indians.
SantiSuk
I'm also a South Indian veggie food fan, so I hop into Dosa King (soi 11) for a massala dosa and salted lassi quite often when visiting. Other good places for similar food in central BKK? The recently expanded South Indian restaurant opposite Central Mall on Pattaya Second Road is better than Dosa King mind. There are three Indian restaurants right there on the same block, but I suppose you probably mean Madras Darbar: http://madrasdarbar.com/ Pattaya also has a SARAS on the top floor of Royal Garden Mall. There is a "Dosa King" in Pattaya on 2nd road, south Pattaya, but it is no relation at all to the famous Bangkok Dosa King.

In Pahurat is a shopping mall with an Indian food court on the top floor. Dosas there are well filled and cost 60 Baht. The samosa stall outside on the street is fantastic and those are 12 Baht each.
