BKKBrit
How delightfully karmic it would be that should you pass away unexpectedly that some dipstick in a public forum would slander you and your travelling friend for all the world, your friends and family to see. What even makes you come up with such drivel? Does it make you feel like a better man? I hope karma is sweet in this case

ezzra
Not necessarily that it was a heart attack it could have been an Anaphylactic shock that display similar symptoms, in any case, seems like that foreigners are dropping dead like flies recently due to myriad of reasons.... jalansanitwong
Its possible he drank moonshine or contaminated drinks of some kind. It certainly wouldnt be the first time a young person has come to grief this way in Thailand. People have died here after having an allergic reaction to peanuts. (Probably contaminated with pesticides.) rip

bridge2bridge
GREAT Thai reporting AGAIN. The article says he was found in his room deceased. Then they said he was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Where do they get these IDIOTIC reporters from? Anyhow far to young to die. RIP, condolences to his family. bark
sorry my bad. It is always the custom of Thai Visa members to say things. Good for you to say that you said something wrong, off the cuff, etc.. 99 % would not have apologized.
ALLSEEINGEYE
I hope they immediately test for that illegal bedbug spray (the lazy Canadian Embassy should be involved). HooHaa
GREAT Thai reporting AGAIN. The article says he was found in his room deceased. Then they said he was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Where do they get these IDIOTIC reporters from? Anyhow far to young to die. RIP, condolences to his family. Why, he could well have expired in the room with first responders and been pronounced dead by doctors upon arrival. Also, the report is likely a translation, is that so hard to fathom? Edit: I have just re read the story. It does not say he was rushed to hospital, you and d that yourself. it says he was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, presumably by someone with the authority to call it. it could not be more clear, and its the exact same thing that would happen with a paramedic in the much vaunted west. Maybe someone from Thai Visa saw something the night he died and could add information, about the case ? When an Expat dies; it is news. Do you hate Canadian people ? Canuk23
Not saying it`s a heart attack but if it was unfortunately a heart attack under 50 is most of the time fatal. R.I.P. life was just starting what a shame.

Not saying that is the cause here but I think we all know it has been the cause in the past and has been covered up. For that to be the case, there would have been more symptoms? cyberfarang
There have been cases when tourists not used to the hot climatically conditions of Thailand have a few alcoholic drinks, the mixture of alcohol and heat causes the body`s blood sugar to decrease to dangerously low levels, a condition that requires a glucose drip. If not caught in time can prove fatal. Only 28 years old, a tragedy.
