I come and go as I please. 30 day on arrival or 60 visa and 30 extension at immigration office if needed. As I do not live in Thailand permanently I consider it none of their business what my bank transaction are and what happens to be in my account. If you meet all their requirements you will find that the Thai London Embassy is not that restrictive, but helpful as long as you are polite. Everyone's needs are different so it is up to you.
