Netanyahu pledges to protect Israel 'from predatory animals'

606x341_323830.jpg

JERUSALEM: -- The whole of Israel will ultimately be fenced off for its own protection, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed.

Inspecting the construction of a new barrier along the country’s border with Jordan on Tuesday, he used strong language to evoke the threat.

“We will surround Israel in its entirety? The answer is yes. In the environment we live in, we need to protect ourselves from predatory animals,” the Israeli premier told reporters.

The new 30 kilometre structure on the border with Jordan will stretch from Israel’s resort city of Eilat to Samar, close to where a new Israeli airport is due to open next year.

The Netanyahu government fears migrants and armed jihadi infiltrators might try to reach Israel via Jordan.

Fences already built in the name of national security include a vast barrier cutting most of the West Bank off from Israel and East Jerusalem. Palestinians dub it an “apartheid wall” and an Israeli attempt to grab land Palestinians want for a future state.

Israel is the canary in the coal mine for the west; whatever measures they are forced to take so too will Europe and the U.S.

Predatory animals= Islamic terrorists

The whole civilized world needs protection from this evil scum.

He is the predatory animal in chief

Israel is the predator in Palestine, gobbling up land, denying rights, running apartheid illegal occupation. Not all that unusual for "victims" (holocaust etc) becoming "persecutors".

He might just eat himself !

Where it is found that this Netanyahu leads a little more every day his country to ban of civilized nations.

That there are still people out there, who defend this crap or see it as a role- model for the Western World, is absolutely a miracle to me.

And not a good one!

They should consult former GDR officials to make sure nobody gets out!

Fencing themselves in is not dissimilar to becoming like a zoo. The animals are caged in for the protection of the spectators and not the other way around.

The beast ought to be ashamed of himself exposing his own folk to his warmongering attitude.

Worse, he puts his own folks in a cage rather than going for peace with Palestinians.

He is becoming a dictator and ought to be removed and fast before it is too late.

Can we throw some peanuts to those inside?

So the Jewish people after many years of living in ghettos in various countries now have a ghetto all of their own called Israel.

They have a very successful democratic country that is surrounded by third world dictatorships with a MUCH lower standard of living. Israel is like a lush Camelot in the middle of a desert populated by jealous haters and Islamic religious fanatics.. thumbsup.gif

This 2003 testimony before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Terrorism should give some idea of how Salafism has been spread worldwide ... not just in Africa and the Middle East. It is a concept reaching the end of its first generation since implementation. The head of the snake.

Go ahead and build your wall.

It won't protect you from your own worst enemy: yourself. wink.png

Religious fanatics are on both sides of the fence here.

Palestinian nationalists ought to be happy about this development. It's a solid step towards a two state solution. These two sides NEED to be separated. That's obvious. Most Israelis from right to left get that by now. Better separation first. Then later there is a hope for a good faith negotiation between the sides. But people who see this clearly and listen to the "BDS" chants in the street worldwide, Palestine River to the Sea (and also the words of actual Palestinian / BDS leaders) know that Palestinian nationalists don't really want a two state solution. They want a ONE STATE "solution" with the Jews gone. Israel, global Jews, and Israel's many friends and allies (some who won't admit it but have mutual interests with Israel) aren't ready to sit back and passively let that happen.

yes, I built already a wall and an electric fence round our property. And I will buy some pitbulls as well. And some guns. Do you think it's enough?

Does that mean that everything on the otherside of the fence is Palestinian territory?

Seems like a baiting question so maybe answer that yourself.

The regime thinks it's building a wall, but it's really digging its own grave.

The Wall is just another land grab by Israel - it is twice as long as the 67 ceasefire lines, sometimes separating whole Palestinian villages from their lands and water supplies..

"From the moment construction began, Palestinians protested its route, 85 percent of which runs east of the Green Line, which marked the 1967 boundary between Israel and the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The full route, as outlined in the blueprint approved by Israel’s Ministry of Defense, is 422 miles of zigzagging curves and loops, making it more than twice as long as the 199-mile-long Green Line."

A negotiated just peace with its neighbors would be a far more effective border, which would be recognized by the entire Arab and world community. Israel will have to face that fact one day, and the Wall will have to be re-aligned if Israel wants a lasting peace.

Create an environment of hostility and resentment.

Claim that you will protect your people from the ensuing violence.

Jaysus, he must have been watching Trump closely.

Actually, it is not a baiting question. I am not the least bit anti-Israel and the country and the people have my sympathies for the situation they are in.

If Israel builds a wall, I am assuming that they are claiming the land on the inside of that wall. Does this mean that what is on the outside is not Israeli land? If so, it is a physical start to a two state solution.

Care to read the OP again?

I can't find anything in it about Europe or the migrant- crisis, so ...offtopic2.gif

What was it that SD wrote last week?...Whose agenda? Yes, the word hypocrite does spring to mind.
Perhaps a strict on topic rule should be set for all Israel related topics to stop the 24/7 demonization brigade using this forum as a general soapbox for their agendas.

It doesn't accomplish any of that instantly.

It deters more terrorism within Israel and hopefully brings the day closer when there can be good faith negotiations between the sides.

It doesn't end the west bank settlements or settle the very difficult and very loaded Jerusalem issues. It doesn't solve the internal Palestinian political division, Fatah / Hamas / West Bank/ Gaza.

Those things can potentially be negotiated. Or not. But in the meantime Israelis would be better protected from escalating terrorism.

My first post in this thread observed that what Israel does Europe follows in spite of their ritual protests, hence the entire European border will likewise be fenced off. The link enclosed shows this is well on the way.

By the way congratulations on your appointment as moderator.
