Russian man's ear sliced off by flying knife in Patong fish market fight

Featured Replies

Does wonders for tourism, more Thainess.

Van Gogh-ness. In thailand 'you have to pay', sometimes several times. They're sharks!

What is van Gogh-ness?
e

Get educated, Van Gogh sliced off his own ear, not because some Thai bar girl fleeced him, but depression as nobody would buy him a drink..

If you believe their side of the story you have zero comprehension of local culture.

I believe The Russian victim...However we only hear the thai side of the story something about flying knifes.I rather would hear what the victim has to say.I expect him to say i bought some fish. The fish sellers did not give me back my change. When i asked again for my change a dispute broke out between me and the fish sellers the result was that i got stabbed in my face twice and lost one eye and one ear.

What is it that i need to comprehend of any locale culture? Is it to be careful buying fish?

I also expect the fish sellers to be selling their fish tomorrow again at the market business asusual..

Alternative

Always use 7-11 ATMs, then go straight in and buy a 20bht bag of crisps.

Then you have change.

Or a can of Tuna? Could get quite a few for 400baht and then you have change wink.png
