Dog friendly walking area around/in Lamphun?

I am a house and dog sitter in Lamphun for the next three and a half weeks during the holidays of the owners.

As I went jogging this morning with the dogs I run into troubles with every other dog in the sois around the house.

Could someone please guide me to a dog friendly walking ground around/in Lamphun?

May be something similiar to Huay Tung Tao Lake in Chiang Mai, if something like this exists in Lamphun.

GPS co-ordinates or detailled descriptions are mostly welcome as I don't live normally in Lamphun.

At the same time I am also looking for a vet clinic in Lamphun in the case something serious happens next time.

(Google search lists two clinics) I prefer to choose a vet clinic that is recommended buy a regular and satisfied customer.

I don't want to ask the owners to which clinic they normally go, as they would immediately think something happened to the dogs and they could no longer enjoy the holidays anymore.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Regards,

Rob

OP, you go jogging in Lamphun, in the morning, with the cr@p air down there? Next up the dogs will be asking which hospital to take you to laugh.png

Tomorrow I will park the car at the parking space near the football stadium and the tennis courts and will run together with the dogs the way along the river area.

By the way the air was much better at 6 a.m. today in Lamphun than it was yesterday in the city area (amphur Muang) of Chiang Mai.

I also had the feeling that it is cooler than in Chiang Mai (comparison between today in Lamphun and yesterday in Chiang Mai, but as I was not at both places at the same time, it is difficult to judge).

Have fun!

Just to the west of the hospital, they have been building a new dual carriageway heading north all the way to the 106 4km north of Lamphun.

I walk my dogs up and down that, excellent surface and the workers too scared to ell me I should be there. Not the most beautiful place, but effective for a good work out. Until they let the cars on......
