'Hairy Panic' engulfs houses in Australian town

VICTORIA: -- In Australia it’s known as “Hairy Panic”.

Amid very dry conditions, tumbleweeds which form from dead grass have been blowing in from fields and engulfing houses and gardens on a daily basis.

Residents of Wangaratta in Victoria blame a local farmer for neglecting his land.

Couple of goats would knock that lot over in an hour. For a goat that's like Fairy Floss heaven. Let em off the leash and stand back. Come back in an hour 'Fairy Floss' gone and two fat goats. Fairdinkum 'city slickers'. Countries is like the grass..... 'gone to seed'.
