PATTAYA: On Friday the investigation into the severe fire at the Max Muay Thai Boxing Stadium in Central Pattaya began as the owner of the building revealed he had not taken out any insurance.

The revelation came out during an informal and jovial chat with investigators at the location. The owner, Khun Niwat, confirmed to Police that the fire started at an Air Conditioning Compressor Unit, even though Police could not immediately confirm this to be the cause of the fire.

Amazing how they managed to totally raze a new steel building. It must have taken special skills to avoid all of the fire prevention practices and products available and even required by law these days.

i watch muay-thai boxing every sunday channel 8 from this stadium, and its always packed WITH NO INSURANCE EH.

Steel burns..... look at the WTC.

Yeah when you load it with thermite.

No insurance, no problem, when you are cashed up. Rebuilt in two months.

Forensic Police are teens these days?

His stadium has burned down and he had a "jovial" chat with investigators. I wonder who told the best jokes.

Steel melts, thats how its shaped.and molded

.In Larger buildings-- Building codes require all steel to be uncased in concrete or asbestos type casing, or spray, to retard fire. This was the case with WTC. Many have noted why it didnt work in that case.

Air con compressor fault is a sensible explanation.--- It happend in one of my buildings once too.

With big exits there should be plenty of time to clear a building of that stadium size--- in case of fire-without the need for the ''over the top safety'' requirements ---required in more developed country's.

But as that say it usually costs more in the longrun-- when u try to save money with shortcuts

(Maybe thats because we only remember our shortcuts when we have bad luck?)

As for the humor of the owners- seems like a lesson on how to take lifes knocks on the chin-

Yep.

With thermite or advanced nano-thermate.

And using directed energy technology, skyscrapers can even be turned to dust.

as WTCs 1, 2, & 7 were.

[normal fires and jet fuel can't burn steel nor bring down steel skyscrapers, of course.]
