BANGKOK, 21 February 2016 (NNT) - The Constitution Drafting Commission (CDC) is reviewing all suggestions on the first charter draft, saying it would ask for clarification on some suggestions it had received.

CDC Spokesperson Dr. Amorn Wanichwiwatana said the drafting body had gone through some suggestions from the National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA), the National Legislative Assembly (NLA), and other agencies. He said there were certain comments that members of the CDC did not understand as they were not written clearly. As a result, the CDC will ask for clarification on those comments.

He said suggestions the CDC had received were very diverse as they would have to be categorized into groups. On the chapter concerning community organizations, he said the new constitution would protect the rights of those organizations just like any previous constitutions.
