It affects me when the bars close early, because I'm still young enough to be up that late.

I'll just create yet another new profile. No one will ever guess it's me.

By dressing up for my visit to immigration, I feel the officials really respect me.

Not so for all those slobs lounging around in their comfortable t-shirts and flip-flops.

It was a brilliant career move to come here and teach English in my thirties for 30K a month.

Plenty of time to think about my pension and savings later on. Meanwhile, all my friends at home are dead jealous of me.

Do people really tell themselves this? Anyway, I'll say this much: when I taught English I was able to put away $1,000 or more per month, which is more than I can say for most of my friends in USA. Also, most of my friends are jealous, but I'm not sure if they should be.

Members here never take the piss out of farang school teachers........whistling.gif

"My students are amazing, they really listen to me."

"It's diet_____ because my doctor said I'm a walking cardiac disaster."

"This tastes like authentic Mexican food!"

"Just keep my bin behind the karaoke bar, I'll come back tomorrow and pay."

I am now so smugly thaier than thai that I refuse to talk to farangs in bars. I no longer have anything in common with them.

Wow, just wow.

I NEVER tell lies about folk I meet in LOS...............blink.png

That all posters on TV are experts and know what they are talking about.

Except Trans................giggle.gif ...............

What I've observed about a narrow range of bar acquaintances holds true for all expats.

"Hey,I'm only here for a couple of months and then I will go home and find a real job".

I'll just create yet another new profile. No one will ever guess it's me.

Who was I?

I don't need company.

They'll miss me when I'm gone.

I won't get banned from any forum cos I am too important..............whistling.gif

I know ,I have been important at least twice before.

It doesn't matter where she's from, with my kind of love and patience I can change her

If retired foreigners like myself leave, this place will collapse.

OB

I'm a magnet in attracting people...each time I pass my local tailor shop I'll be darned ....I get my hand shaken..

All my friends are hi-so Thais. I have no time for fellow expats.

I show my understanding of Thai culture and tradition by wai`ing as often as possible. I especially like doing this to children. When they laugh, they're laughing with me definitely not at me.
