3BB down in Tapae Gate area

Featured Replies

3BB not working in Tapae Gate area in case anyone wondering. No wonder it's been so c... The last few days. According to helpline they are trying to fix it !

Hmmmm. Wonder if that's what's been affecting me, even though I'm out at Nongkwaai. Been ranging between awful and un-usable the last 3-4 days. 15MB ADSL package ranging from 4.8 (rare and at best) down to 1.2 Mb download, or no connection at all. Finally caved in an called them today. Suggested it might be OK if I paid 96.3 baht this month instead of 963 given I'm getting less than 10% of what I'm paying for.

You should run speed tests to the 3bb speed test page to see if you are getting your packages speed consistently. http://speedtest.3bb.co.th/ If you are getting your packages speed consistently on their speed test, it is quite possible that there is a problem in the international routing.

Many times the internatinoal speeds are a fault of "broken" cables or other factors.

I am not saying it is not the fault of the isp, but quite often it is not their fault.

Called them and reported the slow speeds (slow regardless of which test is used or wherever it tests to). They called back and confirmed a problem with the line. Engineers coming tomorrow.
