im going to LOS end of november, and have a return ticket july 07. i`ll be applying for a 2-entry TV in norway. could this be a problem,either getting the visa,or at the airport? (because of the late return) i mean, it doesnt necessarily mean i`ll be spending all that time in thailand

No, the only trouble that happen usually at check-in time is when you don't have a visa and your return flight is later then 30 days in the future. But i never heared about any problems with a visa, even if this does not span the whole time until your return flight.

If you have a tourist visa you do not need a return ticket. You only need a return ticket if you enter on a 30 day stamp.

jbaldwin, please consider the possibility that the original poster might have bought a return ticket because he wants to return to his home country after his visit to South-East Asia, and that he found it cheaper to buy a return ticket than two one-way tickets. Such things are know to happen.
