NAKHON NAYOK: -- Forestry officials today issued emergency evacuation after the bushfire that started two days ago is still uncontrolled and is raging close to residential communities and wildlife sanctuary.

Nakhon Nayok governor Sujit Chaichum called an urgent meeting today with relevant government officials in bid to stop the bushfire from spreading as it was reported to threaten Animal Aids Centre and Khao Lamduan hill.

Coordination was also sought from Khao Yai Nation Park and villagers to help build bushfire buffer zone to prevent the fire from reaching residential area and animal sanctuary.

Emergency evacuation plans were also planned and ready to be implemented if the bushfire is kept out of control.
