Rear mounted bicycle rack for a car

Featured Replies

I haven't been out searching yet, but could anyone steer me in the right direction as to where to purchase a car bicycle rack (similar to the picture)

I don't know if there are different ones for different cars, but the car is a Honda Jazz.

Thanks.

Couldn't see a picture?

I've heard good things about the Saris Bones rear bike rack. Have them in many of Bangkok's bike shops - saw one in the bike shop in the basement of Fortune Town last week - not cheap, but good quality. Are you in Bangkok?

Yep.

Cherry bike store on 108 in Sansai (north of the central festival and middle ring road). It is on the left, near a tire outlet.

Happy with mine...it holds 3 bikes..but we only have two. I would go for the two biker.

Sometimes I strap it on the back and put the bikes on, because people tend not to tail gate if you have this contraption on the back. It is adjustable, and will fit most cars. I have a mpv hatchback (suzuki ertiga).

Careful with the hooks....I put one near my rear light and got a hairline crack....my mistake. On long trips, you have to adjust the straps, as the weight shifts....put it never caused problems in two years (chiang mai to mae hong song and to udon...several 12 hour trips).

La Bicycle shop on the moat has them , 3 bikes it can hold.

2500.- bath.

Takes some time and patience to get attention from the people working there.

Good luck
