Tins of Thai curries

Featured Replies

For years I always had a stock of Thai curries in tins, they were a quick way

to make a meal, with the addition of a few more ingredients, potato, onion, chilies,

the best one (cannot remember brand),i have not seen any where for a good 3 years,

the other brand Mae Ploy, you could find in Tops,in Red,Green and Yellow, but for the

last year they have only been stocking Yellow.anyone else use them?

Not used them but I think red, green and yellow curries are available in various packets these days. Maybe they just knocked the tins on the head?

Roi Thai makes some acceptable curry bases. They aren't in cans but are in waxed boxes similar to what coconut milk comes in. They can be found near the coconut milk n Tesco and Big C.
