That may be the case but one should remember that most Thais with a village background live in substandard accommodation with little or no movement towards the 21st century living standards so on that premise where is the hardship of time in prison unless of course you are concerned that the offender may get kicked around for his crimes by other offenders who have forgotten that they were also offenders. Antisemitism is the irrational hatred of Jews that's been going on for at least 2,000 years and culminated in the massacre of six million Jews during WW II, The goal of antisemitism, past and present, has always been the eradication of the Jewish people.
