Expats: Where Have You NOT Been in Thailand?

Featured Replies

I have driven to every province except Narathiwat. I don't have anything against the place, just have not had any work there.

It's the handsome guys that don't go to Pattaya, it's usually the fat, tattooed ones who can't get a girl, and have fat wallets who go there, but in saying that. I do come down to Pattaya, sometimes by myself, though mostly with local mates. and occasionally with the wife. I do like it down there, the western food, the buffets that you can't get in Bangkok, and the long walks etc.

I'm intrigued by these buffets. What's so unique about them?

The ones I'm referring to are the 250-300 Bt ones at the Lex and Apex hotels, and the Sunday buffets at a place in Soi Buckawo.  I don't know of any like that in Bangkok, although there are lunchtime ones that are to early for me. If you know any buffets in Bangkok around that price, please let me know.

Ah ok. So you mean the buffets you can't afford in Bangkok?
