Vientiane Embassy/Consulate site down

I'm getting "DB Query error" trying to access the site for consular information.

In any case I shall be travelling to Vientiane early May and I know that the 1st May is Labor Day in Laos and Thailand. However the 1st is a Sunday, so does that mean that the consulate will be closed on Monday 2nd does anyone know?

That is not a good week to go since they are several Thai holidays that week that the embassy will likely be closed for.
