Getting Thai health insurance for 68 year old American
Yeah, I see from the final that they dropped to 1% which means they will recoup a lot less money than they originally planned. They had changed some parts of the provision so that if one had a US bank acct from which to send the money, no taxes either and am sure this was part of the arguments prior to this that meant US banks would be required to do a lot more work without pay and thus make it even more difficult to open an acct fm overseas at a US bank. Plus if one did get charged, extra paperwork for us.! I did get notice from American Citizens Abroad that they were along with other groups fighting against this tax too. Thanks for the update...now too see if the Senate will send it on to the House and we will see what they come up with. -

This sounds absurd -- I am well aware -- but he really should spend some days with Chat GPT, explaining symptoms and test results. It's incredibly informed about medical stuff. OK, flame away. It also has a "deep research" feature, which usually delivers shockingly insightful results. I'm thinking parasitic infection from his look. wasting away but has a distended abdomen. An accurate diagnosis would be interesting to find out. There's also telehealth, all over the world, including Japan. Make some hour-long appointments to present all known data. A local, village hospital might not have the best diagnostic abilities. Good luck. At least his wife hasn't left him. -

The usual rubbish from the usual suspects. The crazy woman is clearly the aggressor on every level. He did not 'floor' her, he simply shook off her attack and she fell. He was obviously running away from her and tried to get on to his motorcycle to get away. Some mentally ill people here trying to twist it into it somehow being the foreigner's fault. Indeed it is his fault for getting mixed up with a woman who obviously has some issues. But violent he was not.- 1
