If he is unidentified at this stage, how can they search for relatives?

Sure they can, they just do a Koh Tao DNA test - bound to turn up someone, probably Burmese.

.............surely some advanced skill sets they possess....

The Police generally will not release the name of the person until a family member/ Embassy are contacted. They generally tell the press the person is unidentified, as finger prints and dental records take time. The media is always in a rush to print the story and they probably printed, searching for relatives. Also the translation from Thai to English can get confusing at times.

It is amazing to me how many 'bodies' are showing up these days. Both Thai and Flongs... It just didn't unused to be! What is happening in the Kingdom? It is rather unnerving and most unusual! Even the number of 'guys jumping or falling' from balconies or bridges... Thailand just does not seem to be as safe of a peaceful and enjoyable place to be as it has been in the past... It makes me start to wonder WHY WOULD I WANT TO COME BACK TO THAILAND? I WAS such a wonderful fun place that was safe and everyone was just looking for fun and happiness... These days... <deleted>?!

Chao Praya?

He probably just went swimming or tried to wash his feet, but then died of toxic shock

certainly murdered by some thai kids junkies and thrown in the water

because they were bored...

Joking aside, I've been collared by such individuals in this area a few times looking at me in some menacing manner and just growled my Scottish Braveheart cry that seemed save any battle commencing - pure scum if u ask me !!!
