Thankyou for reading. I have another thread re shortness of breath. In AU I saw some experts and the suggestion was to have a chest CT scan.

Perhaps scan or ultra sound on kidney.(seems I had a kidney stone). Also some sort of heart check. So my question. I'm going to udon thani for week. Is the bkk hospital there of good quality? Any advice welcome.

Thanks expat. I was going to stay at top mansion, which is 2 minute walk to bkk hospital. Hence my interest.

Quality nowhere near that in Bangkok. If you are in Bangkok now, I strongly suggest you seek treatment here now. As mentioned on prior thread, severe shortness of breath is a medical emergency.

From what you now say, sounds like the doctors in Oz thought the problem was pulmonary in origin, in which case you should see a pulmonologist.

Dr SONCHAI HIRANNIRAMOL at Bangkok Hospital (Bangkok) is very good, and is there tomorrow (Friday) from 1 - 4 PM

I have had 2 hernia ops, low blood platelet count, kidney malfunction and a 7 day stay for a bacterial lung infection.

All taken care of efficiently. I pay out of my pocket and didn't think the prices were so bad.

My 2 favorite lady doctors work there.
