HAT YAI:— A manhunt is on in Hat Yai in southern Thailand after an execution style killing of a man dumped on wasteland, reports Thaivisa

The unidentified man had been shot in the head three times and thrown in the undergrowth next to a rubber plantation in Kuan Lang district.

Police alerted by villagers found a trail of blood, three 9mm cartridges, five baht and a ring. There was no ID on the body and nobody in the vicinity knew who he was. He looked about 30 years old.

Locals said that they heard noises coming from the area at 5.30am then the sound of gunfire. Following the shots three men were seen getting into a white pick-up truck and driving off.

Investigations continue with police surmising that the killing was a result of a double cross over a business deal.

Three shots in the head. Either he owed money, or he owed money, or he owed money.

If he was a Farang it would be a clear cut case of SUICIDE and the case closed !!

Just saying ....,..

The political and cultural scene is complicated down in South Thailand...

Between the mafia, separatists, and local crazies...a life filled with the pursuit of happiness...is almost impossible...

Death and destruction has become the norm...

Wild wild East.

Time to Client East wood again to make movies based on true stories here.

Thailand is becoming a more violent country daily.

Nonsense! People are the same worldwide. Thailand is considerably less violent than 95% of most other countries, on this planet, including other SEA countries.

Anyone, who has ever done any serious global traveling knows that much. Spend some time in Indonesia, The Philippines, or your own home country (for that matter), then return to Thailand, afterwards, with a very different perspective.coffee1.gif

Regardless, I'll take Hat Yai, over Beirut, Capetown, Lagos, Islamabad, London, Los Angeles, Manila, Mumbai, New York, Paris, or Sao Paulo any day of the week, where it comes to my personal safety, on the streets. You need to travel more, than you have thus far. wai.gif

See lot of these happenings on Mindanao Island, south Philippines.
