Kanga Japan Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I used to use an on-line Thai-English dictionary which went by the name W3. I had it bookmarked, but it no longer appears. Does anyone use this dictionary and know its current site address? Thank you for your help.
KhunBENQ Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I guess you mean this link: http://th.w3dictionary.org/index.php?q=thai Google claims to have a cached content from 25 March 2016. Maybe it's a temporary failure?
Kanga Japan Posted March 30, 2016 Author Posted March 30, 2016 Dear KhunBENQ, Thank you for your reply. Yes I think that is it, but when I try to open it the message 'Safari can't find the server' appears. I hope it is a temporary failure, as I found it a very good dictionary to use. Thanks for your help.
Kanga Japan Posted March 31, 2016 Author Posted March 31, 2016 Dear Maestro, Received your mail, but for some reason it did not appear on the ThaiVisa page. I tried with your link, however it did not work. Thank you anyway. I hope it is a temporary problem.
Maestro Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 I removed my post when I realised that the link did not work. It looks like the w3dictionary site is no longer in operation. Too bad. The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place. — George Bernard Shaw
Kanga Japan Posted March 31, 2016 Author Posted March 31, 2016 Thanks Maestro, I hope it's only a temporary situation. It was a great dictionary.
