Train Derails In Thailand, Crashes With Pick-Up Truck

NAKHON RATCHASIMA: -- At least one person was killed and 30 others injured when a derailed train rammed a pick-up truck on Sunday in the northeastern Province of Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand.

According to Xinhua news agency, the train departed from the Thai capital of Bangkok en route to the northeastern province of Sri Saket, when part of the train derailed hitting the pick-up truck.

The accident is currently being investigated.

Why is Xinhua news agency reporting on a train derailment in Thailand??? Must be a dearth of mining explosions this week. Or perhaps the opposite!!!!
